ADERCI operates in two domains that are Agro-energy resources (Jatropha and Castor oil plantations) for biofuels’ production and CDM development Projects.
- Castor oil plantations and Jatropha plantations for producing biofuel
Since May 2008, ADERCI has started the promotion of bioenergies in Côte d’Ivoire by creating some promotion centres in Toumodi (Central Ivory Coast) through the creation of an experimental plantation of 500 ha for jatropha and castor oil plant.
This experimental plantation will produce some high quality seeds for our large scale Plantation Program at short term and at middle term.
These seeds should permit to sustain our plantations of 200.000 ha over ten (10) years from 2009.
- The development of CDM projects
We developed some Project Information Notes (PIN) in different sectors of activities, notably in:
Energy production from renewable and non renewable sources: biomass, hydraulic energy and Sea Wave energy;
Management and waste treatment, waste waters and cattle rearing for heat and / or electricity production, on- site or off -site;
Afforestation and reforestation of damaged soils confirmed by satellite pictures;
Transportation in order to improve the performance of public transport services by the use of Gas that emits less Greenhouse Gases.
